Our Mission is to develop better Leaders, great workplaces, and successful organisations

Through our coaching programs and workshops, our purpose is to help leaders who are doing poorly to do well, and to help leaders that are doing well, to do better! To do this, we help leaders to build IQ - knowing where to take the team, and EQ - getting the team to the destination , by learning how to effectively balance three primary leadership types:

Business Unit Leadership

This relates to the needs of your organisation. Organisations themselves are living organisms: so the needs of the organisation, and each business unit, also need to be considered and addressed. However, taken too far, you risk negative consequences and behaviour when there is an almost single-minded focus on quarterly sales targets. 

People Leadership

This relates to the needs of your People. You must have the IQ to understand where to go and the EQ to rally your people to get there! This requires a level of professional competence, in concert with enough emotional intelligence to get the best out of your people, and to understand how to get them onboard with your vision. 

Sales Leadership

This relates to a laser like focus on your clients. Every single interaction is an opportunity that you need to leverage. This is not mutually exclusive from the other leadership types; if you don’t balance the needs of your people, and if you cannot influence your own organisation to achieve your client’s objectives, you will not be successful.

Eric Young, CSC

Eric is a leadership professional with three decades of experience across the Public and Private sectors. Throughout his working life, he has consistently found success by effectively balancing competing priorities, while always finding time to pay it forward and develop others to reach their own potential.

Roles have included General Manager in a multi-national Prime Contractor, Strategic Adviser to the Chief of Navy, Director General United States Force Posture Initiatives, and Director General Navy People and Culture. In 2021 he was seconded to the Department of Health as the Operations Coordinator for the Vaccine Operation Centre in the National COVID Vaccine Task Force, where he was the public spokesperson for the vaccine rollout.

He is passionate about effective enterprise decision making and the development of individuals into high performing enterprise leaders through the implementation of coaching and mentoring programs.
